Replacement for this small button?
« on: November 08, 2016, 02:50:11 pm »
Hi all,

I'm looking for replacement pushbuttons for my cocktail P1 and P2 buttons.  I tried ordering the same ones that were there and they are cheap and fire off randomly starting games on it's own.   :banghead:

Here's what I ordered (Exact replicas of what was on there):  https://www.walmart.com/ip/5-Pcs-AC-250V-3A-NO-SPST-Momentary-Red-Push-Button-Switch/46512580

What I'm really looking for is the diameter so that I can grab a quality arcade button and swap out the bad ones.

Any leads?  Thanks in advance!

DeL

According to the specs in the linked item

Quote
Specifications:
Item Name Push Button Switch Contact Type NO, SPST Switch Type Momentary Switch Working Voltage AC 250V, 3A Switch Color Black, Red Pin Number 2 Button Diameter 11.8mm/ 0.46" Mounting Thread Dia. 11.4mm/ 0.45" Total Size 39 x 18mm/ 1.53" x 0.71"(L*D) Material Plastic, Electronic Parts Weight 24g Package Content 5 x Push Button Switch

SO looks like total dimension for outside is 18mm - so maybe something like these 16mm mounting hole arcade service buttons would work - ( http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/20pcs-service-button-small-push-button-switch/255947417.html )

Divemaster has "Type A Miniature Round Pushbutton, Red Center" here.

They are Happ part # 49-0577-00.

or

Arcadeshop carries the "Midway Cocktail player start Push Button (Red)" -- not sure about the diameter.
