LyonsArcade on KLOV identified it as a Venture cabinet, and it looks like I can grab at least the side panel PDF on Classic Arcade Cabinets, but there is a big disclaimer about not trusting the specs. There is no dimensions on it, but the shape looks legit.
I always took Brian's disclaimers more for the CNC files. I expect the trace of the side panel is accurate. Just my 2 cents.....
The disclaimers I put on any cabinet that have not been verified. In many of the cases, the plans are something that I have bought from another CNCer and have a lot of faith in.... but I have not been able to spot check the drawings for accuracy. A description of the "accuracy rating" can be found here
http://www.classicarcadecabinets.com/faq.htmlAll of the DXF files posted on the website have the measurement embedded. You will need to open the files in a CAD viewer to access the dimensions (lots of free options out there). I will get a howto posted in the next week or two.
For me, the accuracy is the most important thing. If I have a cabinet that is traced and is off by a 1/4" or more, the accuracy score drops (or more likely, I correct the plans). The proof is in cutting and assembly of a cabinet. While many of the plans may be dead on accurate, I will not give a score higher then the 80's unless a confirmed cabinet has been cut. It is easy to make a mistake when drawing out the cabinet and doing some mental math. An 85% score may result in a 100% accurate cabinet, but until confirmation of being cut and assembled, I won't bump the score.
If anyone uses the plans, please LMK how they turn out. This is a community project.... so without the feedback, things will not improve.
Thank you
Brian
