High Score Competition #198: '88 Games
« on: August 22, 2016, 01:41:53 pm »
So, does anyone have any scores they have been waiting to post?  I propose we offer a few days to post them before we take them as official, and keep going?

I have one that i'll post shortly. In the 36k range i think, so easily top-able i presume.

Nope, you are right. This past Sunday was the finish, I just thought that if we wait a day or two to close this, then probably another day until the next challenge is started, the next challenge will only last one and a half weeks.

True.  Then i suppose the question to ask is whats more important: Keeping the competitions on "schedule" for the year, or Keeping it at two weeks?  But two weeks makes way more sense.

High speed, 42-45 degree launch angle. My high was over 9m.

So let's call it decided then.

Last day of this challenge : Sunday, August 28 2016 midnight Pacific.

How the hell do you get over 6m on the long jump!?
I can only just hit 5!!

Run as fast as you can, the optimum angle would be 45 degrees. Also, you have to yodel at the top of your lungs.

Oh, sorry for not mentioning it.

When you reach the line, hold the center button, and the angle will climb.

yikes! I guess so!  :applaud: :applaud:

Well congrats, wp34!

Looks like it's
1st: wp34 - 103,580
2nd: acvieluf - 33,190
3rd: yamatetsu - 12,940  (thanks, btw!)

Did i miss a score submitted by titchgamer?  Seems like he could at least have nabbed 3rd or 2nd?

nope, that goes to third place, as to not have someone always winning and then choosing other games they may be great at.  Yamatetsu is up for the choosing.
