Hello, And looking for help with shift keys on Mini Pac.
« on: May 18, 2016, 05:32:31 pm »
Hello everyone,
Ive been a long time loiterer around here and spent many hours gleaming info and inspiration from this wonderfull forum.

I started building my upright cab a few years ago but due to life after it getting originally built it ended up in storage for a few years but I now have it back at home and with a little more funding available to be I spent a load more on it and been making it more me :p

I will post some pics later if anyone wants to see but its a upright cab complete with 2P 6 buttons set up and with a PC running MAME, Winkawaks and a few others. Working coin mech and Spink-trak and Aim traks.

Anyways allthough I basicly have it to the way I want (well for now we all know what these things are like  :P ) I am trying to get the "Shift keys" working on it without any luck.

I am using a old Mini-PAC and useing version 1.2.154 of the WinIPAC software.
My shift key is set to P1-A (start) but whenever I hold it down and press anything else nothing happends.
I have tried looking at it in the table view of the key assignments page to see what it is doing and basicly it is just showing me holding the shift key and the P1 start key down (plus anything else I press) but it is not shifting the keys to the second function.

Can anyone help with this problem?

Any help appreciated and thanks in advance :)
