OK, the BYOAC release of ZapCon the Game has been sent off for testing. Once I get confirmation that all is well, it'll be posted.
In the mean time, here's the skinny on the game:
OK, so I wasn't planning on bringing anything new to ZapCon in 2016, but at the end of last year, I was noodling around with some game creation software that I had when it hit me - I could create a ZapCon-themed game that would be fun and silly but allow me to work on being creative and figure stuff out. So I bounced some ideas off of some members here who I trust, and the Vulcan Bros. was born - a mini-game design consortium, if you will. I would work on the game, do the programming and scripting, and the rest of the team was play-testing, ideas, and quality assurance, We started off with screenshots, then preliminary builds, then actual playthoughs until we got the game where we wanted it to be. I was open to their feedback - I valued it, and the game evolved from in to its final form based on their suggestions and criticisms (I held firm on the snake, though).
More later.
