Does a seimitsu shaft fit a sanwa joystick?

I live in the netherlands and since germany is right next door I'd prefer to order from ArcadeShop.de because shipping would be faster.

But I'd also like my sanwa JLF balltop to have a LED in it,,, they do have a hollow shaft for the Seimitsu LS-32..

I made a custom arcade stick for a friend some while ago and I ordered from them, but I don't know if I used the Seimutsu shaft and it fitted fine or if they had a specific Sanwa shaft which was hollow as well..

So can you put a shaft for the Seimutsy LS-32 into a Sanwa JLF without it being different? I tried looking for pictures of both shafts side by side but could not find them. Any help is greatly appreciated.

As an alternative to ArcadeShop.de take a look at this UK based shop: http://www.arcadeworlduk.com/. They have a catalog that is a lot bigger. I'm also from the Netherlands and have ordered from both. Shipping times were fine from both shops, though ArcadeShop.de was faster.

finally found my old orderform from arcadeshop.de. They did sell hollow Sanwa shafts back then. So it probably wont fit.

I checked out the new store, it sadly doesnt carry hollow shafts for either Sanwa or Seimitsu... I'll look further.

Seimitsu and Sanwa shafts are unfortunately not cross compatible.

I would avoid ordering from arcadeshop.de at the moment, there are currently a lot of unhappy customers waiting on unfulfilled orders at the moment.
