Hi folks, I am working on a project which requires me to build an arcade machine to run the game Terrordrome. It is a DOS game (.exe) but the problem is, is that it only works in fullscreen mode correctly on windows xp/Vista/7. I was wondering if any of you had any input into what kind of hardware I could use to run it. I need it to be able to boot on receiving power from the wall socket and it needs to have at least one USB port to be able to plug a 2 player arcade control via USB interface. I realise I could do this with a small PC build, perhaps mini ITX, but I would like something smaller and a bit cheaper than a full pc build
The list of hardware which I have already looked into:
- Raspberry Pi (Wrong architecture to run windows)
- Intel Compute Stick(Cant boot on power and no support for anything below Windows 8 )
- MinnowBoard(No support for anything below Windows 8 )
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks
