Hi

SUPER CHASE CRIMINAL dont work on my MameUI32.0.151, I all ready change other rom from working version

any idea please?

Don't use 151?

Mame just went through yet another core change, so it might be that the game is broken in that version.

Is this what you mean by not working?

Game is labeled as working in MAME though.
If it's not launching, there should be a message telling you what it can't find.
You might be missing a separate sound board file or something.

I will try to launch the rom by itself tonight in v.170 and see if it is looking for anything else.

Alternatively you could just re-download an older version of MAME that you know will play it properly.

Yeah I've got it on my machine..... it plays fine but the road has a tendency to disappear.

All the files in the screencap should be in superchs.zip -- contains 29 files, zipped filesize = 8,699k, unzipped filesize = 18,436k. (I'm running 0.152)

Are you sure your ROM version matches your MAME version?

- 0.152: Unigame added clone Super Chase - Criminal Termination (1992/10/26 20:24:29 CHASE 3 VER 1.1, prototype). Like the other Taito prototypes this is a significantly different version with different graphic data etc. Changed default layout to upright 4:3 [hap].

- 0.148u4: Porchy and The Dumping Union added Super Chase - Criminal Termination (World). Corrected main CPU clock, corrected some rom labels. Added PLDs to the sets [Porchy, Brian Troha, The Dumping Union]. Changed 68EC020 CPU1 clock speed to 20MHz. Renamed (superchs) to (superchsu).

If you are trying to use the same "superchs.zip" ROM file for both 0.146 and 0.151 you are definitely not using the correct version of the ROM.

NO i replace other rom, only when i see it didnt work. I have The both roms 0.146 and 0.151...

The version of MAME you are using in the picture is not finding what it is looking for in superchs.zip
It probably is a problem with using a rom meant for a different revision of MAME, but if you want to take a hammer to it.....

Unzip all the roms.

Add all the files listed in the picture to superchs.zip
(find them in the other superchase rom zip files)

Zip it back up.

I haven't tried doing this with newer versions  of MAME, but I did it with older versions and it worked.
