Quick question how do I get version 1.0.0.226 TeknoParrot. I downloaded it and if I update it's 256 or higher. Anyone have a link to the version that works with Demulshooter. Thanks

Quick question guys,
Demul Shooter in conjunction with Wii Motes does it work with Mame, PCSX2, RPCS3, Cx Bx -R, Supermodel Emulator?
I am willing to make an investment on such a setup but wanted to know if this combination works on all Light Gun Games that can be played on the PC via Emulators or Native PC games like Buck Hunter series etc.

I am aware of that just asking about the compatibility of the mentioned emulators above whether they will work with thus setup or not?

Argon, with the tool you created is it possible to play farcry Instincts on win10? Only managed to play on win7 on win10 not.

Hi guys, will HOT4_MouseFix only work with GameLoaderAllRH? Reason I ask is I ran it prior to running the game straight from TeknoParrot and it doesn't hook.

EDIT: got it to work!

is there a thing similar to lindbergh for ringwide that has the versions you need to get Transformers working:

Lindberg has a listing like this:

I didn't test any new builds of TP since the last DemulShooter release, but untill this point there was no compatibility issue with Ring games

With the new CXBX Reloaded Builds, the Virtua Cop3 game is working correctly (without the sound bug). Would a Demulshooter update be possible for these new versions? Thanks!

hi all, I've updated to the latest demulshooter 8.5.7 and have a problem with demul games. The problem is both guns control both P1 and P2 simultaneously.

In the demulshooter diag application, both guns operate individually as expected with gun 1 only controlling p1 and gun 2 only controlling p2.

Would any experts know what I've done wrong with the demul emulator?

But for me cxbx freeze during normal mission before loading  first ninja

Hi, thanks for a great piece of software.

I have an issue I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on, the software works fantastically everywhere I've used it with dual AimTraks, including all Sega Ring series games  - apart from Operation Ghost.
I have ran in verbose debug mode and I can see the hook successfully and coordinates for the mouse in the debug.log but these coordinates are not translated into the game, either when playing or in the Test menu during aim calibration. The test menu coordinates just do not move for either player. Please see below debug, which goes on a lot longer but I have truncated as it's all the same.

I did note that "RawData event for Device #2:" never shows either.

I am running gs2.exe via TeknoParrot for convenience, and control - I assume this wouldn't get in the way of normal DemulShooter operation?
Furthermore I have tried with EnableInputDevices=1 and 0 which makes no difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

I am running gs2.exe via TeknoParrot for convenience, and control - I assume this wouldn't get in the way of normal DemulShooter operation?
Furthermore I have tried with EnableInputDevices=1 and 0 which makes no difference.
I wouldn't be so sure, DemulShooter is made to hook Operation Ghost directly, without TeknoPArrot running.
Using Teknoparrot  certainly means there is at least some IO hardware emulation ( and maybe other things ) that could change the way the game is handling input

you should try to run the game is it should be (even in window mode if you can't go fullscreen without teknoparrot) to verify

Hi argonlefou. I did some more investigation this evening on this odd issue.

I deleted everything and set up a fresh demulshooter 8.5.7 with demul 0.7a 180428, with fresh config files etc. Sadly it's the same problem with the gun 1 and gun 2 controlling both players. Perhaps I'm using the wrong version of demul for this version for demulshooter?


I then tried rolling back demulshooter to old version 7.6 and use it with older demul 0.7a v11117. The guns operate separately YAY!! :applaud:..... however there is a new problem with a 5-10 second lag in demul from when you aim the gun and shoot to when the emulator processes the input  NOOOO!! :'( . If I operate demul v11117 on it's own without demulshooter, single player gun works and responds fine with no lag but obviously no 2nd player.  Likewise, in Ds_Diag for v7.6 there is no lag at all and both guns work perfect.

Maybe this lag issue on old v7.6 and the demul emulator a known issue that can be fixed?

I've just tested demulshooter v7.6 and v8.5.7 with the model2 emulator and in both versions, gun 1 & gun 2 operate separately but have the same 5-10 second lag as per demulshooter v7.6 with demul.

The lag wouldn't have anything to do with leaving -v debug mode on?

Yes leaving the -v option may cause lag due to the high quantity of disk acces to write every thing

The lag was indeed due to the -v option but also it turns out the latest demulshooter 8.5.7 works perfect in 2 player with the slightly older demul 0.7a v11117.  It seems my issue all along was some 2 player bug with demul 180428.

Trigger fingers are aching here after we played through confidential mission and house of the dead 2 ;D

Hi Argon, and all people here!
Lately Fast draw Shodowdown pc version was shared but it is very buggy and different to the original arcade version.

Wii version is neither like the original but it has two player support (which is really cool although the arcade didn't).

Using the dump & load textures tools from dolhpin I replaced some images to make it more Arcade-like, if anyone is interested I can share.
 So the wii controllers intro is replaced with the original "proudly created in..." And all the ingame graphics for the menus reffering to button a or b or wiimote are replaced with "press start" and so on.

But I have been testing a lot, because I have troubles with the tilt action of wiimotes:
While player 1 seems to work perfect with Cursor Y- Range 500 angle 45, player 2, which is mapped though a joystick, won't work with angle 45 but does with 55-90. But never as good as p1. P2 seems to be slow returning from holster, when you aim at screen.
Any advice with this anyone?
Amazing game, I recommend it.

Thanks, it works perfectly as standalone as you suggest. I was hoping to avoid bespoke setup in RocketLauncher per game by deviating RingWide games from TeknoParrot, but I guess this is the only way. Plus paves the way for setting up other games that run standalone!

With the new CXBX Reloaded Builds, the Virtua Cop3 game is working correctly (without the sound bug). Would a Demulshooter update be possible for these new versions? Thanks!

What build are you using? Because mine is 76d45fdd (Dec 19 2019) and I can't configure the controls correctly.

I have used this software for a long time now and it's always worked great, so thank you very much argonlefou!

I don't have any problems, but I do have a small (I hope) request.

Currently, I use the Wiimote + Touchmote + Demulshooter combo to play games and it works great. However, if I have any other controllers connected as Xinput controllers before using Demulshooter, it will grab those instead of the Wiimotes (actually emulated Xbox 360 controllers). This can can be remedied by removing the controllers before connecting the wiimotes either manually, or with devcon.

I wonder, would it be possible to make demulshooter only connect to specific controllers or ignore specific controllers, perhaps by UUID?
