Spinner Advice
« on: November 22, 2015, 05:24:30 pm »
Would like to include a spinner on my next MAME arcade build.  Have not purchased a spinner before and have no experience installing them.  Three questions to kick it off.

What should I consider up front?

What are some of my options?

Has anyone found a great spinner feel it's a good deal price wise?

TT2 from GGG.

Depending on the knob you choose, you may want the ESC.

If you get a steering wheel, get the 7".

Okay, I ordered the TT2 with accutwist, an energy storage cylinder, a premium spinner knob called graphic web beast, and the 7" wheel.  Looking forward.  Thank you, Scott.

You won't regret it.
I have never used a wheel on mine but I have the TT2 with both the ESC and the token top premium knob.
It's a great spinner and takes up very little room

I have used both the TurboTwist 2 from GGG with a 5" wheel and the SpinTrak from Ultimarc with a 6" wheel. They both work flawlessly. Somehow I found the TurboTwist more solid than the SpinTrak when it comes to the connection. You can not swap knobs or wheels between these two spinners because the shaft diameter is different on them.

I have used these spinners in two driver bartops:
The Outrun driver bartop
The Pole Position driver bartop
