I think I could duct tape my powerbook to my wife's excercise bike and I'd be halfway there. I don't think I get it.  ???

LMFAO

They took a bowflex and a chair that I use at work(the chair is the exact same one I use but I didnt cut the wheels off) and welded them together.  **BLAM** "now give me $3000 for a "COMPUTER INTERFACE DOHICKY"..!!  but you know what the sad part is somebody somewhere is using one right now.  I bet they are pretty buff too... I mean working out and surfing porno sites...makes me tired thinking about it..

It took reading the entire site to get it (bad site layout guys, you ARE trying to SELL a product, not confuse people into anger, right?) but here it is in a nutshell:

Its sole function is to keep the flatscreen a consistent distance from your face, no matter what angle you recline your chair.  WOW.  You could get the same effect with one of those virtual sunglasses, or just a laptop on your lap, probably for much less money.  That office chair alone is pretty pricey.

Also, it is the ugliest POS I've ever seen.  Uglier even than the Trashcade!

Oh I don't know, I think it has some potential.  It is a completely different concept and approach to gaming than the "stand-up" configuration.  Certainly related to the driving cab genre, but a logical progression from Mach 3 and Afterburner.  How many games have you played where you are twisting and turning in your chair because of your natural reactions to the situation on the screen?  I have often thought some kind of enviro-chair-suit-game-console could be really cool if it was engineered correctly and put you in the game while enhancing those reflex motions.  I always wished someone came up with a robot simulator so you could stand in a chassis like the one in Aliens with a big screen or vr glasses and have the whole chassis actually walking and moving while you fought it out.  I think it is a worthy idea and I for one would not mind trying it out.  JMHO

I don't think it's so bad it's just very different.

this is not a cab. it's another concept. and I like the concept , but it's just my opinion
(and I share it with myself)  ;)

I drop this here, cause I was thinking you guys are curious about any kind of stuff that can inspire you.
