Not bad. Not great, but not bad. The second level is more enjoyable than the first. Still finding the controls challenging (on a laptop keyboard at the moment...).

22,060.

Looks like the last competition: 2 good people neck-and-neck, & me in a distant 3rd. Hooray!

105,170. The scoring system sucks. Reached stage 4 - 71k.

Another game - four 10k crates in stage 1 - 62k at the end of stage 1. Botched the rest of it, of course.

If you don't get those crates, you might as well not bother.

Yep - I hear you. Got 46K yesterday on level 1....and then completely messed it up. There's no correlation between my highest score in this game and how far I get.......It's all about the getting lucky with the crates.

So I really dislike this game, but I can't let you have third place for free. You gotta work for it >:D

65,320

Not going to butt heads with the masochists on the first and second place though

Broke my d-pad on this. Who would have thought that a d-pad on a sturdy 2mm thick piece of plastic could snap right off ? The cheap ---daisies--- at Saitek didn't, apparently. Tried to superglue the two pieces together. That worked for about 2 seconds. "Screw it", I said, and did just that. Pressed the pieces together and put a small screw through the middle of the d-pad. That did it. Now I can go on chasing the crates again.

Wow, this game was extraordinarily hard to control.  You can't jump, you can't shoot any way but left or right, but the robot arm goes in 8 directions?  Yeesh.  I always knew I HATED this game on NES but couldn't remember why.  Wasn't this one of the few that slipped through Nintendo with nazi imagery?

I actually enjoyed the NES version of bionic commando, but yeah, the enemies were ruled by a Hitler-esque whackjob whose face explodes spectacularly when defeated.

1 million bonus for beating the game, then it starts over a at higher difficulty. Had one life left, died a cheap death in stage 2.
