Cherry Switch quick connects on ebay
« on: August 05, 2015, 05:05:04 pm »
I'm looking to buy daisy chain grounds, which I found here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jamma-Sanwa-Button-Joystick-16-connection-110-Ground-Wire-Daisey-chain-cable-/171767893305?hash=item27fe2a0d39

But I'm also looking for single wires with a quick conenct (1 meter long or so). I can't figure out the search term to find wires, hell, I don't know if ebay is even the right source for these. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I normally solder these, but for this latest project, I'm going to go with quick connects

1 last question - whats the right size connector (.11 or .187) for happ cherrys?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Cherry switches use a .187" connector.

Not sure about wire leads with terminals pre-installed. I did a quick Ebay search using the term "wire with spade connector" and there some results. Why not just use some crimp terminals?

Thanks Jeremymtc!

After doing some browsing, I settled on a jamma interface since it has the .187 ends on it. I'm helping my 17 year old cousin build this and I didn't want to mess with soldering or crimping. He's already cutting, measuring, gluing and screwing! Cutting the ends to length and installing in an ipac is enough work for now.
