To Jamma or not to Jamma

Do I keep it or snip it to add my own wiring harness?
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.

Maybe I should be more clear.  I have a cabinet that I want to restore, but I am not going to replace the mainboard and just use Mame.  So instead of springing for the obvious Jpac (which I refuse to buy from Ultimarc) I am faced of adding my spare Xarcade controller board, the keywiz, or the use of two kades.

Do I use the existing Jamma harness or do I make my own and sell the existing one?

Why do you refuse to buy a JPAC? And how are you going to connect your monitor without one?

big10p is on the money. Why would you refuse to buy the obvious and best solution for your problem?

I decided not to buy any products from Andy due to the disgrace of poor business judgement, against a fledgling competitor.

I don't want to connect an arcade monitor as I will be using a LCD display.  I also want to add more buttons to the CP.  I didn't know if I should leave the cab wiring "as is" in case I sell it on or add an arcade display down the road.

Thank you Chopperthedog, a fingerboard would fit the bill perfectly.

Thanks for the replies.
