Kade trackball support questions
« on: February 10, 2015, 12:01:33 am »
I have some questions using the KADE as an encoder for a happ trackball.  I wired it as suggested by the encoder software.  If i flash it as a mouse Goldentee does not seem to see it.  If I flash as gamepad, GT sees it but it is hypersensitive and does not reset to zero when it stops spinning.  IS the support really just no there yet or am I doing something wrong?

Have you made sure to turn on mouse support in mame? It seems like a silly question but I missed it just recently when I added a trackball to my cabinet. It was a setting in the mame.ini file.

Have you looked through the KADE Loader v1.1.2.0 release notes thread here.

Auto-centering can be enabled by keeping HWB pressed down (or by adding switch between HWB and ground

Not sure if it is possible to adjust sensitivity in the gamepad trackball firmware, but you can adjust the other one.
