Have a problem with Mala: cannot play a single game
« on: February 03, 2015, 02:12:47 am »
The symptom is this: I can see every entries after I've finished the refreshing. But when I choose a game, it goes to 100% (or sometimes it seems to crash at 0%) but revert back to the list screen.

I've uploaded every information/settings/rom files/log file etc. in the software forum http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,143717.0.html. The Mala homepage says I have to ask there, but I thought asking questions here would be more useful so asking here again.

Another question is, is it possible for the bios files not to be shown in the list? I've seen somewhere that I have to deal with the xml MAME file but I don't know what to do with it.

Thanks  :)

First question.
Can you play from mame directly without MALA?

First, you must set up your emulator.Mame in this case. When this works fine, then you can set up mame or other emulator in MALA.

To remove bios names from your list, you can select them and remove them one by one with the right mouse button. Or you can use the xml generated by your mame without bios name.

Greetings!
