I'm going to say this again once, then STFU-
I really don't want to get into minutia when it comes to nominations, categories, or cabs. This isn't a 4H competition where we use checklists to evaluate each and every aspect of a cabinet to decide a winner. Should a cabinet someone built COMPLETELY by hand, hauling the MDF in the back their truck and cutting it by hand with a circular saw magically get more points than a cabinet someone designed and had cut on a CNC machine? Should someone be dinged for artwork they paid someone to design? Why go there?
C'mon, guys, this is the FOURTH time around. Nominate your favorite cabinets like in the past, and if there is a clear type of grouping, the committee will look it at so that there aren't a dozen cabs in one catergory (we're almost there). If you don't like it, the committee will take your feedback after this time around. If you are really hell-bent on it, I guarantee you there will be openings on the UCA board next time around.
