Dimensions and sketchup models for sit down cabs can be found in the driving cab info thread in the driving cab subforum.

For the Daytona USA sitdown...

Are these good candidates for a mame racer rig?

If I can get one for about $150 am I retarded for not having it in my truck already?

And where the hell do you all find this stuff at. Obviously Ky suffers from Arcade price inflation syndrome

Nothing listed under the common key words will ever be a good price.  People that know how to list their stuff for max views get max prices (or at least try to).  You gotsta gotsta search odd strings like "sitdown game" or "video machine" or do a bunch of by name game searches.

Dude, I'm going to offer you some practical advice, but you can feel free to ignore it. You said your wife is already mad at what you've built so far, and I don't think you're joking about how mad she really is. Make things right with your wife about this hobby first, or else I think this is all going to end in tears. Those of us in this hobby that are married probably have wives that, while not completely understanding of this obsession, at least are on board with what we are doing and accept it. Make sure your wife is totally cool before you start adding more machines to the mix. It's no fun having a wife that resents your hobby. You'll never be able to share it with her.

No actually she doesn't really care that much. She gets agrevated when I take time away from the family. I actually showed her that post and she laughed. She is actually my control solution , she keeps me in check. She keeps me from being hugely obsessive instead of just obsessive. BTW this may be a rebuild of a cab that is in my garage already.

If I do a few "honey do " jobs for her before I start building she will be fine. If she's not she will get over it

Well, you're the one who post the wife rant in big red scrolling letters. If she's cool with it....

Having said that, yes, get a sit-down racer.

Can't pick them up till this weekend.  Might break down, ditch work and go sooner.

I want a sit down racer bad,but I really don't have room. She really doesn't like the look of them too much, but if it makes me happy, and I don't go crazy with it she is ok. She was pissed about the pin cab because I spent a chunk. and I did get a bit obsessed with it. But really Yotsuya, I'm no worse than some of these other guys. She's a little younger than me so she missed the whole arcade craze. I would have sawed my arm off with a rusty steak knife if I could had an arcade in my house when I was a kid. it's really just nostalgia for me.

That would be ---smurfy---. My wife isn't much of an arcade gamer, at all, but she understands and supports me in whatever I build. She was also very supportive when I dismantled a few of my earlier builds.  ;D

This was a great day for me. She's still up for a game every now and then.

Does your wife have any interest in a particular game? If so, I say make her a custom jaharr01 version of it and see how that goes. That is, if you have to build something arcade related.
 :dunno

Nothing arcade related is work messing up the home life.

LT I think you brainwashed her and kept her sleep deprived for several months to make that video. Then when she was ready you took her out of the basement polished her up and put her in front of the camera :dizzy: . My home life is fine, she just likes to give me a hard time. Although she really did get pissed at me and dragged my finished pin cab out to the back porch, without scratching it though. we both have since then been properly medicated  ;D
