Upright Star Wars Cabinet dimensions
« on: January 07, 2015, 02:51:38 pm »
Quick query I hope someone can help with?

On the Upright original Star Wars cabinet for those members who have one, what is the offset between the front of the coin door panel and the front / leading edge of the side panels please?

Does the same offset appear at the back of cabinet as well?

Many thanks in advance - trying to get a cabinet CNC cut and this is the dimension I am missing!

I can check when I get home.  You're talking about how far the front panel is recessed from the edge of the sides correct?  IIRC it's a 1/4" but I'll measure for you.

Le Chuck - that's right. Wasn't quite sure how to word it!

Finished the CNC AutoCAD drawings but this is the only dimension I don't have.  If you could also check if there is a recess at the back and top, that would be helpful.

Scant few of these cabs left in the UK!

Many thanks - Nick

Yotsuya - thanks for those.  If I read the markings on the tape correctly, that's 1/2" recess, correct?

BTW, there isn't any offset on the very back. And the first photo is the amount that needs to be routed on the front panel for the control panel.

When you finish, and you have everything dimensioned, consider posting it here:

Valiant

I look forward to your project.  Is Valiant chosen from Clone Wars?  Or is that a coincidence?  Do you plan an alternate side art?

What is the turn around time when you send the files and for them to be cut and delivered?
