Atari Star Wars Spring Set
« on: December 23, 2014, 01:47:44 am »
We're considering a one-time reproduction run of the 4 large centering springs in the Atari Star Wars yoke. The price for all 4 springs would be around $45. We'd like to get an idea of interest to offer such a kit. This isn't a commitment to buy, but would you be interested in a spring kit at that price?

No need to reply here if you've also replied at the same post at arcade-museum forums (klov). Thanks!

Great idea! I'd be interested. Provided shipping to the UK was reasonable.

Was I the only one who thought this was a good idea?

I think it's great to access to  them, but I don't know if I can afford to but $45 on the shelf in the basement.

To be honest that's really expensive for those IMO.  I made a replacement for about $3 and 15 minutes worth of work with a blow torch and a pair of pliers - had enough spring left to make about a dozen more.  I'm sure if you had an example you could go to a local metal shop and get them twisted up for a similar price.
