Can anyone identify which arcade game uses these pedals?
« on: November 19, 2014, 07:43:41 pm »
I picked up a pristine set of Gas/Brake arcade pedals from E-Bay the other day.  I plan on installing them in my MAME cabinet.  However, I am slightly confused with the mounting bracket at the bottom of the gas pedal.  It looks like it is mounted on the underside, unlike how I have them in the pic below.  But when I push down the pedal, the bracket slides horizontally making me wonder how it was secured but allowed movement.  Does anyone know what game these pedals were used on so that I can figure out how there were mounted?  I was told these were from Sega units.

Super Monaco GP

You can see the assembly in the standup photo. Not sure if it's used in the sitdown. You can find the manual at Crazy Kong in the Manual section (hint: it's under S.  )

The manual doesn't really tell you much so I'm not entirely sure if the hinge is attached. I assume that it would be and it does appear to be in the "open" position rather than the "closed" position. It is hard to tell in the photo and I didn't look too closely at the manual.

Good Luck.
