Must be nice to just "go get some blades"  My scroll saw is like from the 30"s or something, its really hard to find those old style blades for that cast iron pig... But it looks like you got some decent cuts anyway, nothing a little sanding cant fix. ;)

    • Skenny's Outpost
I thought you bought a router LT?
That and a good straightedge makes excellent cuts.

  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Don't have a band saw or a real shop, just basement but that stays just a hair above freezing so I hear ya.
Also love the new avi from real ghost busters cartoon.

Love doing chainmail.  Do you dremel cut your rings off the coil or use nip cutters?

The wife and I are part of a medieval living history group.  I've done a lot of armor mail actually.  Riveted links are a ---smurfette---.  Done a lot of jewelry style stuff as well though.  For the jewelry stuff I cheat though and get pre-cut rings in cool anodized colors from a place in the Great White North called Ring Lord.

Nice maille jewerly Mr Tully.  I haven't done any maille work in a few years, but it is another time consuming hobby, not quite as expensive as this as long as you stay away from the nice (expensive) metals.   Silver is not to bad, titanium can run into bucks in a hurry.  Bought my Ti rings from TRL as well (I see you go as just L.T. over there ;).  The old hauberk and coif I first made in galvy 3/8" rings seemed to take forever just due to the shear size.

Back on topic, that is a awesome little cab you are making!

Here is a Ti necklace and earrings I did several years ago, from 22ga 5/64" rings from TRL.  Sorry not a great pic.
