Kade miniarcade - where to buy?... or arduino?

hello everyone,
i donīr know if this is the right "spot" to ask this question in this forum but, if not, please redirect to the right one.

iīm starting to build a bartop and i have some doubts refering the controller encoders.
i see that the KADE miniarcade is the best way to go: simple and easy to use and program but i find it dificult to find where to buy them to send to Portugal.
i see that in the KADE US store they have different packages to choose:
- DIY KADE miniArcade kit- complete
- KADE miniArcade kit
- just the minimus
- etc

does anyone know where to buy these kits in europe (or if they send it to europe/Portugal)?

but, in my web searches, i saw the possibility and compatibility to buy a cheaper encoder but i donīt found them selling anywhere and i found one:

can anyone tell me if this nano v3 is compatible or does the same as the Kade?

if anyone can help or give some advice to different controller encoders i would be extremely gratefull.

The Nano is an Arduino AVR-- you might be able to recompile (and edit?) the source code and figure out which pins and addresses are tied to which functions . . .     

It will be much easier to get an AVR that is currently supported by the user-friendly KADE Loader program.

The KADE miniArcade is based on a "Minimus ATmega32u2" like the one available here and from other vendors -- requires soldering wires to the AVR.

KADE Loader also works with the "Minimus AT90USB162" board, but those are mostly out of stock by now.

Whichever source you buy from, be sure to read the Quick Start Guide here.

i realy think that the Kade is the way to go, mainly because is the easyest way and prices.
i already emailed kade to ask if the european store can sell DIY packs like in the US store and i can save some money.

the site you told me has a good price on the "Minimus ATmega32u2" (i already fouded it in one of my web searches for the minimus board solo) but the problem is in the shipping costs that are more then twice the price of the minimus.

if i found a store selling this AVR with good shipping prices to portugal i would buy just that and solder the rest myself but i will probably wait for the european kade store reply and buy from them only the avr or the DIY kit.

The DIY kit is fun to assemble as well.  As long as you aren't fumble fingered (the solder points on the AVR are tiny...) it goes together quickly and easily.  Took me about 20 minutes, mostly because I was doing it at work between calls. My co-workers got a kick of me walking in with a soldering kit.

If I had an xbox to use it on I'd find out.   That is a low enough price to take a risk.

You should google the mame of the board to see if any reviews come up.

Sharpfork bought one a while back. I think it emulates the analog stick and i heard some had problems with some moves in street fighter because of it.
