Fyi - Typical glue wont hold up to the high psi stress levels of a mechanical function like that.
Epoxy might hold up... but epoxy can still crack if not supported by some bracing material.
Epoxy putty, the good stuff.. can be as strong or stronger than the original undamaged part... and no bracing material needed.
Ive used the water-safe plastic based epoxy putty, to bond two different threaded parts, to form my own high pressure adapter.
This part is not only under high pressure constantly.. but I run very hot water through it. (Portable Dishwasher, with water heater on near max heat output)
Its been a few months.. and not a single drip of leakage, nor sign of any issues whatsoever. The stuff is really incredible. You could pretty much make anything out of it.
