dvd drive is there but kinda doesn't read disc most of the time. just play games from hard drive


professionally modded jtag / rgh (reset glitch hack) jasper chipset xbox 360. this is the version that came out right before they started making the slim. jasper is reliable and never dies(google it). comes with 20gb hard drive and freestyle dashboard and xex menu dashboard. you also get the original nand file and cpu key. the dvd drive is also modded with LT+ 3.0 so you can play games from hard drive without disc or from disc drive if you have bunch of games.

with these you can run mame and other emulators, play games from hard drive, play xboxlive arcade games, etc. can post pix upon request. its just standard white case. pick up preferred too if you are in new york city. otherwise I will take paypal and ship. looking to sell asap so I can buy other random things

newest one either doesn't have a working chip yet or its coming out soon. they have mixed motherboard revisions inside. I only work on older model slims(august2011 or before)

not all games are full size. it depends. some are as small as 1gig(again..depends)

one without dvd drive now has a working dvd drive. found one and installed it earlier. and freestyle dashboard is on the 512mb internal memory so the xbox by itself is good even without a hard drive. all you'd need is a usb to run the games from. saves and profiles can go on the internal memory.

So a little searching yielded 16GB as the max size for games.  You can connect larger drives as along as they are fat32, but only 16GB will be allocated for games.

Its not like someone deletes a web page when its no longer valid.  So that is 1.5TB of games on a xbox 360?  Is it jtag'd/rgh'd?

16gb limit for unmodded xboxe360s lol..

its RGH. jtag is just more popular term. same function but rgh requires the chip installed. "jtag" hasn't been possible since 2009 and it requires dashboard 7371 or lower. technically there is no limit to hard drive size. I haven't seen any that didn't work. all you do is fat32 format the drive. however I am sure there are random no name huge 3.5" external drives that may not work. especially an IDE drive in a usb casing or something. you are safe with any of the self powered external drives. western digital recommended.
