You gave it to him with barrel number one, but you forgot to pull the trigger on the second barrel!

He was having a bad day, was he? Did he find out that someone was selling his intellectual property passing it off as his own? Somehow, I doubt it.

You let him off too easy. Technically, you have this guy by his bunghairs and you should have pounded that fact into that tiny head of his.

As of this writing, he still hasn't bothered to take down the auction. What a fool.

That phone call was awesome... but you really were way too nice. I doubt he cares that it was your stuff, I also doubt he cares that you caught him or that he'll have to take the auction down. (the mind of a socially inept loser jackass is a twisted thing.)

However, I bet he would care if he got lots of phone calls from lots of people, and knew that there were large threads on arcadecontrols.com devoted to how much of a loser jackass he is.

he might also like his email address signed up for a couple of free email services, with all of the "send me free subscriptions of stuff" boxes checked.

Maybe a couple of email porn sites too.

Hm, I noticed that he STILL hasn't taken down the auction, even after that phone call.

I say someone calls paypal on both of these guys and yells 'fraud'. They will freeze his account/funds ASAP, and they WILL investigate.

sent him a letter from your lawyer...

tell him unless he took off ALL auctions and then respond with letter showing details of explain why he did it....

or else see him in court and he'll be sued with all damages, expenses, fees and loses....

this is the only way to deal with this kind of low life...

I would disagree. There's a difference between hard work, and shoddy work. That's shoddy. Selling shoddy work on eBay makes it open for mocking. I wouldn't insult people that are really excited by their cabs that post here, but passing off low quality product on eBay as a saleable object is ridicule worthy.

Maybe you're right, but this thing is covered with the same stuff as on my cat's climbing pole. Besides, the best thing it has going for it is probably the HotRod controlpanel. Trouble is, the Joysticks are NOT included! My cat would love it though. A climbing pole with a built-in TV!

I also agree with mahuti. If you ask money for it, it's different. Then you are a manufacturer and no longer a hobbiist and thus subject to "reviews".

Besides, I'm building a cabinet myself and people make fun of me all the time! So what's new

the only reason i started this thread was because i thought "greedy-4-life" actual built the cab and it was finished minus controls.if i had seen the finished product "arcadeparadise" i would have never posted this.i think it turned out quite nice. well i guess it all worked out well because we exposed a f-ing fuad of the worst kind,someone with no tallent trying to scam people who don't know any better.

For everyone saying that I was too easy on the guy, and even suggesting that I get lawyers involved and whatnot: Bear in mind that this is the guy's first offense. Quite frankly, I really don't care if he doesn't take the current auctions down, just as long as he isn't dumb enough to try it again. oh my god that phone call is funny....I did appreciate all the siiiiiieds, but what I really liked was the begining of the conversation when you say, "I got your number off your web site so I thought I'd give you a call" lol! you just call everyone who's number you can find on the internet...that's just hilarious.

err...maybe it's just me.

and by the way...each time there's a new "New worst cab ever" I freak out and think, OH GOD! The Old lady put my machine on EBAY!
