Author Topic: Help me pick a theme PLEASE (Read 4395 times)

Don't worry it's not another plea for someone to make them artwork I should be ok with that what I need is a Name/theme I have to many ideas to pin one down,

As well as the marque,side art,cp art
I also want to cut a shape out of the
Front so you can see the PC and I want to backlight it.

Here's the machine to give you inspiration
It's got a high end PC for new games
And old games,it also has a xbox 360 fitted for Rockband etc
I like comic book, stuff, fighting games,sci fi

Thank you in advance I'll give the best idea full credit in my build post

After reading that you like comics and then seeing the side profile, Mr. Fantastic immediately came to my mind. Perhaps a Fantastic 4 theme? You could have Mr. Fantastic on the sides. The Thing on the kickplate, maybe holding up the CP? And the Invisible Woman and the Human Torch on the CP.

first of what does rockband have to do with MAME ??
i mean .. if you have the high end pc, why do you need xbox 360 ?

about the theme
you said you liked comic, fighting etc..
why not take the best fight games, like mainly Street fighter, soul calibur, mortal combat, and aranged them all in a really cool looking graphics ?

as for the name it's up to you..

But seriously, what's your favorite arcade-related thing? A videogame in a movie or TV show, perhaps? My first MAME cab was named "Starfighter" after the one in the movie.

Personally, I'd stay away from sports teams, non-arcade-related TV shows and movies, or anything that doesn't make sense. I mean, we're building arcade machines, right, not Pinterest boards.

How about an X-men theme based on the classic 6-player versions in the arcades?

All of the characters have been completed and a slew of elements. They just need to be pieced together. A custom X-men job on your arcade would look great. Just a thought...
