- Why does Keith have such a large collection of older machines? It's an unusual collection to see from someone running a regular arcade route, typically you would only expect these sort of titles in a retro business or collector's storage.

I'm trying to figure this out too. I haven't really had a chance to sit down and BS with him about how he's acquired such a strange collection of machines. I have no idea if he goes to auctions, trades them with friends, or what. Heck, I don't even know his last name!

- Again, it's unusual that someone with a collection of titles like this isn't already engaged in the web arcade community, It's a little unclear as to why he's seemingly disconnected and asking you to do all the communicating.

- This sale opportunity screams to be on KLOV but I've not seen or heard anything there about it

Actually, funny you should mention this. He's never hear of this site, but he IS on KLOV as far as I know. When I mentioned that I had some items I needed prices for, he asked if they were people from KLOV. I myself am not active there due to them wanting a CC#. As someone who works in IT for the bank that all banks store their money in, I can tell you how unsafe it is.

He also mentioned that the person who requested the Baby Pac-Man machine, who was willing to fly from CA to pick it up (among some other machines), he recognized the list as a WTB list from someone on KLAV. So that tells me that he's at least been on the site and looked around.

Like I said, these are niggling questions that have been on my mind since this thread started, the levels of apparent disconnect between the seller and the potential end buyers is a little unsettling in my mind.

I can tell you that he is very active on Craigslist.

KLOV... I wish I were on the forums.... once in a while, I see something I'd like to make a run at over there or a discussion I'd like to add to:\ But I also do ot like giving out my CC.

This thread has been awesome if for no other reason than I finally know the game I loved from my youth...Whirley Bird. I've longed for that since becoming re-infatuated with the arcade scene in the last year.
It sat in the back room of the cafe next to my dad's tv store. Game cost a dime to play. I never did get beyond sucking at it.
If I had room, I'd pick that up in a heartbeat. I hope it goes to a good home!

I'd be interested in the gun and board for the cheyenne cab.I have the cab already and am currently trying to restore it back from a real bad convert job to a awful game and back to what it was originally.
Love the pics, lots of games i've never seen or heard of.That place is like finding a treasure chest of long forgotten gold.

There's actually 2 Cheyenne cabs. I found a 2nd one in another room that I missed the first few times I explored.

I'll snap some pics of it for you.

There is so many rooms and so many hidden secrets that it sounds like a walkthrough from Legend of Zelda.  ;)

Here's some better pics of 18-wheeler, for the person who requested them:

As you can see, it does need a bit of work. I'll replace the panel where the wire harness connects, and I'll either repaint the seat, or I might get it powder coated and the put some kind of seat on it.

Other than that, its in great shape. The monitor is crisp and clear, and the buttons work, and the sound is great too.

FYI, the ms pac cabaret in your first set of pictures is a conversion. that's likely a pac man or rally x cab.

Wish you were closer to me. I'd pick that bad boy up :(

Damn shame what they did to that tent...   :dizzy:

Also, I'm kinda diggin' that Front Line.  I probably wouldn't want to snag it by itself but if I do wind up with Radarscope it might be a good tag along game.   BTW, any idea when you will know more about the status of the games on The List (tm)?  :-)

I'm heading down Saturday again. It is VERY difficult to get an answer out of him as far as what is for sale and for how much.

I'm still working on him though!

I got your PM. He's been sick with pneumonia, he only answers txts every couple of days.

I'm trying to get myself down there this Saturday to work as well, but he hasnt answered me back yet on that either. He'll answer sooner or later, it just takes him a while sometimes.

I finally got a chance to work on Baby PacMan a little bit on Satrurday.

Do you guys have any suggestions on how to fix the cabinet? It is completely split on the front left.

Diehard anyone?

This one needed a new monitor installed. The old monitor won't power up, but the neck glows. I'll have to figure that one out one of these days.

I finally got some prices from him! I was able to get a few games posted in the FS/FT section.

I'll be working on getting some boards tested right after we get the Jamma tester built.

For that baby Pac repair , maybe you can try wood glue and clamp it to bring the side back in then
Bondo and re-slot for the t molding.
Also if there is soft wood from water damage, minwax makes a product to bond it but I forget what it's called.
Home Depot carries it.
Not sure if the monitor has issue itself ( looks very red, could be simply adjustment or bad xsistor) but
both baby Pac and Granny and the gators have a vidiot board that may or may not need repair.

Yeah I saw it in one of the pics.
If I remember correctly, the issue I had with a vidiot board was in and out
of sync due to a bad pot on the board.
