That's a shoddy version. The square glass really sets it apart.

lol at blatantly ripping off a design (name and everything) that someone else created and selling it as a "one of a kind" arcade.  Sweet potato christ... the only thing that makes it unique is that it's a subpar clone of the original with no art and an awkward fitting glass top.

So once again, we find that evil of the past seeps into the present like salad dressing through cheap wax paper, mixing memory and desire.

I like how the ad says, "one of a kind" then later says, "Last two sold quick!"

If it's one of a kind, how were there two others?

Ugh.

Not sure what the problem is. The did original creator Maximus/Griffindod not encourage others to make their own versions?

I think the most ridiculous thing about the barrel arcade is the price tag.

Exactly. Griff's didn't even reach that level on eBay.

404,

I think what Nephasth is alluding to is the fact that this guy made it sound like he was the first to think of it and the fact that he is charging so much for something that obviously is of such poor workmanship.  Almost the exact opposite of what we saw in Maximus' creation.  Also like slippyblade mentioned he said that this is one of a kind but sold two more just like it.  Which is scary because that means there is more than one of these pieces of garbage floating around....

"...This is a one of a kind arcade that would look great in any game room man cave or home.
.....
The last 2 sold fast and this is the last one just in time for Christmas!"

This is one classy dude.  HAPBBBHHHFFF.

I'm sure whoever buys it thinks it's the bee's knees.

My only complaints are the quality of work combined with the "I'm making one of a kind machines!" while copying someone else... and even if he wasn't copying someone else the guy claims to have already created and sold two copies of this same machine.

If this was a private project I would be a lot less critical of the construction, but considering this guy is trying to clear $1,200 for this thing I think it's fair to point out that his controls look awkwardly low compared to the position of the screen, the t-molding does not look like it was installed very well, and it's pretty obvious that he just found some random glass table top that came close to fitting and threw it on there.

So once again, we find that evil of the past seeps into the present like salad dressing through cheap wax paper, mixing memory and desire.

Guy is an amateur at ripping people off. I would personally gone the extra mile and taken the artwork Opt made for PBJ and made a "Barrel of Dong".

Stop wasting your life getting butthurt on someone else's behalf over ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- that doesn't matter.

Yeah, i just checked that. Shame really. Griff's is light-years better than this one. Then again, this is craigslist. Almost everything is over inflated in price.

I have to disagree with both quotes above. Mainly because anyone that pays this much for the cab  clearly didn't do their homework and in a sense, deserves to be hosed. I equate that to paying 10,000+ for a 1996 dodge neon or the like.

That is too long for the Tshirt I want to sell at the truck stop.  Definitely won't fit the hat.  Care to distill that to some finer nuggets?

One of the few times i agree with you. If someone does buy this, There comes a point where people need to be held accountable for their piss poor buying decisions.
