IPAC2 ground question
« on: September 19, 2013, 12:10:27 pm »
I just successfully replaced the crappy board in my Tankstick with an IPAC2. The IPAC has 2 ground terminals but does it matter what you ground where? It was easier for me to daisy chain 2 more buttons on one side then the other. Does that make a difference?

Everything is working fine and I am 99% sure it's fine but just figured I would check.

Thanks,
Scott

Fair as I know, you dont have to have the same number of buttons per side ::)

Unlike the X-Arcade encoder that uses a separate ground for each connector, the IPac uses one ground connected to several terminals.

As you thought, there is no need to "balance" the number of buttons on ground terminals.
