ne ideas how to make the light even was thinking add some foil paper on the back...... $:-\$

Move it back as far as possible. Also, can't believe you're not using LEDs.

Foil will help some by reflecting more light.

You'll probably also want a diffusion layer of some sort.

Yes, something that scatters the light like this but thinner.

LED buttons use them too -- red disc to the right of the white plunger.

LED will b nice but I'm not good finding the right voltage for stuuf already burn a 12v fan and two fingers by holding the Soldering iron thingy from the wrong side

its easy to find 12v. You can tap the yellow on a molex connector use use the 12v from your arcade power supply. Also, the animated Caparo in your sig is super annoying, congrats!

Having multiple light bars will help disperse the light better. My suggestion is to remove the florescent light completely (including the square thing on the bottom (ballast) which will create a shadow on your marquee). Put one on the top and one on the bottom and you will be all set. The kit comes with 2 light bars and plugs right into a 12v molex connector on your power supply.

Sounds expensive... My solution costs under $10 and has worked for me for several cabs.

He already has the florescent light going to why not just diffuse the light with something behind the marquee like bit of translucent plastic panel or even white paper. The spot can also be reduced by covering the sides and back of the marquee light area with crinkled tinfoil that will help scatter the light. I use metal aluminum tape on the inside of the marquee area. It is real tape for ducts not the plastic duct tape that people buy that does not stick and does almost no good.

you need to diffuse it, perhaps take a sander to a piece of plexiglass and place it between the light and the graphic?

good tip i think even whit this LED i need a deffusing. soonest i get LED i will post the results ... thanks all for your help

You can use a piece of "satin" or "sandblast" glass as a diffuser. I have a piece of 4mm clear glass and a piece of 4mm satin glass with my marquee artwork trapped in the middle, works brilliantly

I found that just painting all four sides around the light white without any diffuser was enough in my case.

already pay for LED's and cant return........ btw with LED's ima b able to change colors on my marquee

testing LED's can change to many colors the problem is tha i painted the logo blue now have to make it clear
