New jukebox software w android control (not web control)

Hi all, tell me what you think about this new software  that im working on, its in spanish but you can get the idea, my first goal was to replace the sk jukebox that works on all jukebox rentals in my city but i got some people interested from anothers countrys, so im posting this video so you can check it out.

Looks good, Nice to see that it does video as well as music.  Does it do Karaoke as well,  You say android control but not web control, I presume it has a server side on the pc and the android software connects as a client.

Do you have any plans on releasing it,  what kind of features are built into the jukebox? Things like add as next song and blocking the playing of same song until xxx amount of songs have played etc seem to be nice things to have.  Can you use it on a touchscreen or will it rely on having buttons?

Thanks for your reply, the feature of waiting an amount of time for next song sound easy to implement, im going to keep the keypad for now, you can filter genere, jump to the next letter of artist, the software includes the server side  control, no other server required, just install the jukebox software andits ready for android clients. I'm going to check this out.
I've been looking for a solution that would allow me to use my Android tablet to play my media.

I don't use FACEBOOK, but I did find you on FACEBOOK, do I have to sign up to see detailed info on the program ?

Hi Mike, the demo software its in spanish (sorry), hope you don't have any problems, it's very easy to install, here is some info:
audio format supported: MP3, WMA, MP2, MPA, WAV
video format supported: AVI, MPG, MPEG, DIVX, WMV

The music must be in this order( same that SK Jukebox)

c:\musica\genere1\artist\(YYYY) album1\Songname1
* where YYYY its the years album optional


Max 20 songs/ videos per album

Artists are alphabeticaly ordered

I'm hoping the Spanish doesn't trip me up.

Do I have to use the genere option ? I don't have my music stored as such.
I have it : C:\Users\Public\Music\Armin Van Buuren\Intense
                                                     --- artist ---            --- album ---

The genre option it's for demo purposes, as all the jukebox rentals i know use this option.

You can choose the Music folder as a genere:

 C:\Users\Public\Music\

So the software can read artist and albums and songs, also search for an image file ( jpg) if the image its too big its automatically resized ( for android memory issue ) and adds a tag so it can find it if you refresh the entire genere.

the tablet dont need anything, the PC sends artist names, albums images, songnames via network.

You need a tablet 1024 x 600 as minimun resolution, i tried on a coby kyros 10.1(very generic) and a samsung galaxy tab 2, maybe work on a 7" acer iconia A100, im not sure.

I've downloaded the demo, however recent events have left me with no time to even think.
Sadly my tablet does not support the required resolution, however I am looking for a better one.
I look forward to trying this.

I'm excited to check this out. I'm at work so I can't get it pointed to my tunes but... I did install on my work PC and my Nexus 7 and can confirm it works on teh N7. Just a heads up.

Thanks for the info, im also developing for low resolution, 480 x 800 screens. by the way you can use one more smart phone/tablet so 2 or more people can control the jukebox.

Hi all, new release for smartphone or low res tablets, minimun screen resolution 800 x 400, tested on samsung galaxy S3 and chiniese 7" tablet (800 x 400, 512 ram).

So we download the software from the 1st post, then install this APX on the tablet and good to go ?

Yes,its that simple, just add your media on the PC, connect android device to the network and launch the app.

Here's my first success migration from SK jukebox to Tabrockola.
Just add an old router for wireless network, installed the software, a little configuration and its done.

i was trying to skin the android app but it's kind of hard, im going to add some features before skinning, did you tablet run the low res app?

I haven't yet done any testing/playing.
I've been playing with another program now.
BUT I WILL GET THIS INSTALLED ! (just a different PC)
