So this is what qualifies for awesome
« on: July 15, 2013, 10:29:59 am »
So I was chiving earlier this weekend and stumbled upon a thread dedicated to a custom build:  Arcadius.

Check is out here.

Now I'm not here to tear apart this build, it has its own share of merit and issues.  I was pleased to see our site got a plug down in the comments as well.  What I'm wondering is how do they pick this stuff?  Seems like any number of builds (UCA winners and others) would be way further up on the list.

So, what to do about it - build our own so we don't have to rely on the untrained eye of whoever put this post together.  Let's put together 25 or 30 of our favorite cabs and submit theme to the chive (and some other blogs) and see if we can get some of the traffic we deserve.  Please post pic links below.  Let's try and go with builds completed over the last three years so we aren't reaching too far back.

This guy is obviously not one of us:

From what I've observed, BYOAC users have much better taste in beer.

Oddball beer featured earlier in the thread.  Guess I'll let the Budweiser slide.

I'm still in awe of this cab (and it keeps going with the superior beer theme):

He is definitely one of us, the control panel wood overhangs the box 5" in front for no reason. If that isn't a BYOAC thing then I don't know what is!
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.
