Wico joystick shafts?
« on: June 19, 2013, 06:42:32 pm »
Does anyone know if NOS or repro joystick shafts are available for the old leaf switch Wico joysticks? I'm looking for a red one (the ball tops are fixed and cannot be swapped on originals)

I know this has been asked before but people do come up with new products or find old stock. I'm just looking for any length shaft, I'm not specifically looking for the longer one as used in Robotron.

I do have some red ball tops shafts here already but they need some work! The ball tops are a bit scarred up and the shafts would need some painting or rechroming. Not something I could fit "as is" to a new project.

Check KLOV - there were repros done of the 4" Robotron shafts and there have been a few people who have polished up Wicos pretty nicely. Bob Roberts sells some NOS shafts too, but I think he's out of red.
