Yes it was sure an oldie.

On another subject I was looking at some of the older project announcements to see what I might have missed.   Went to the first page just for a lark and I found a post for my second bartop cab.  That was in 2002.  Been here for a while I guess.  ;D ;D

If you use the CP for console emulation, 8 buttons could be useful.

But how many console games are cabinet-friendly that actually use that many? I play PSX games fine with only seven, but I know not to even bother with certain types of games.

I don't disagree.  I personally have a pair of Logitech Rumble Pads because I don't like the CP for most console games.  I was just saying that the only advantage I have heard of for having 8 buttons (or more) is for console emulation.
