Mala background music

Hi, I´m trying to set up a wav file as background music and it does not work. It does not play the wav file when I open Mala (it does when it comes back to the gamelist after open a game and close it). Also I cannot make it play in a loop (repeats everytime the same file).

I´m using mala 1.7.4.5.

Also I´ve tried seting up the music int he layout but no sound at all is played. Any idea about how to solve it?

I had trouble getting the background music to play too.

What I did was went into the background music area of the settings and started a song. Then I exited Mala and relaunched it and the music started playing automattically.

I had a few sound/video issues with Mala 1.74. There was a plug in on the Mala site to fix it and I also went to 1.75 beta. I've not had any issues since.
