Which red T-molding is the right red?
« on: February 03, 2013, 11:26:02 pm »
I want to buy some red t-molding. T-molding.com has two different shades...Red and Bright Red.
Does anyone have experience with both of these and could tell me which would be closer to the red on the Ms. Pac-man joystick top?

The bright red webpage states that it matches Happ Controls Red pushbuttons, so I think this is the correct choice, but I don't have any of those buttons to compare with and I don't want to order it and find that it is some crazy bright neon red.

You probably want red, not bright red. Happ's red buttons are gloss, while the Ms. Pac joystick top is matte so it won't look as bright.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

The red isn't quite as dark as it looks on the website.

I have it on my driving cab.

I think I have some red Happ buttons out of an old CP somewhere.
I can take a pic of them side by side tonight if you haven't made up your mind by then.

Sorry, I don't have any experience with the bright red.

Correct.  You just need to pay a nominal shipping fee.  Totally worth it.  I ordered every shade possible years ago and I still refer to them today.

I tried to get the free samples. I choose Purcahse Order which is what the sites says to choose for the free samples, however it asks me for a PO number. I tried to order with paypal, but paypal refused to let me order anything with a value of $0. That was when I came here and asked for help on the colour.
