Running out of steam - list your picks for the coolest unfinished projects

I've noticed a lot of bumps lately of projects that seem to have run out of steam, or haven't been updated in a while.

Personally I've fallen victim of this one a few times myself. I get started on a project or have an idea for a cool one, but life and circumstances get in the way and I end up putting that project on the shelf, or let it fall into the abyss.
I been wanting to start a list of cool projects that lost momentum, in hopes to revitalize the drive to completion, and also gain some recognition from a lot of the new members 'cause there's a lot of awesome projects here that a lot of us would want to see completed!

So to start it off, my picks of projects I'd love to see finished:

The above are all great project builds! Even unfinished, there's a lot of great info in there from construction to design...

There are a few I want to see completed that haven't been updated since December, but I guess that's not too long ago. (looking at you wp34!)

haha, touché!  Don't worry, it hasn't lost momentum yet.   I've been putting in early morning hours to get the artwork done, since my evenings have been soaked up due to OT at work.
I'll update it soon with the side-art layout, and the latest renderings.

Ouch! Too true, especially with what the help you've shared in developing Alpha One. I need to get back to it, but the night job starts soon (tax season, blah) which means summer at best. At least I am not planning on it being a cocktail anymore!   

I am in the embarrasing state of having pretty much all the physical stuff ready for two projects (the Raiden cab and a PS1- powered Point Blank cab), just lacking artwork, time, and willpower. Excuses, I know!

I really wish I had time to help out on sprites, but the only free-time I have is in the mornings before work when I'm working on Alpha One art.  Hmmm, maybe I could juggle things around...

Ahh it's fair enough, I should cop it for not finishing last year, what can I say, 

1. My dog ate the plans! 
2. Weather was never suitable
3. I was abducted by aliens, just got back last week.

Anyway, I am keen, and motivation being four fifths of progress that's a good thing.

Back on topic - I'd like to see the return of Rick and his Doom'd cab also.

Well,  that wasn't necessarily a lack of motivation, it was more of a lack of skill. I got the board up and running, but still having troubles with the vector monitor, which is the final step to getting this done!
Since then, I've got it put on a repair wait-list for a local arcade shop here in Vancouver.  I got frustrated with the amount of time it was eating up, so I figured I'd spend the extra cash to get someone with more vector experience to fix it for me so I can move onto other things.

This one would be a better example of me petering-out. I basically let that one die...

I'd like to find an alternative to gameon graphics, there's actually a European vendor ive seen the work of on the dragonslairfans forum, that looks really impressive. Anyway, just wanted to chime in that things have begun moving forward again, and I don't know about OND, but 2013 is definitely the Taitos year

That's some mighty fine stencilling and paint work on the Taito, I'm glad I had another look at it.

Word on the grapevine is that Ryglore commented on Twitter that 2014 will be the "Year of the Centipede"... but sometimes I'm not sure to believe him. He's kinda a bullshitter...

I did hear that he might have found some components that would work nicely for it though... perhaps an we may even see an update soon...
