I thought I had a grip... WG 9200

Greetings,
I thought I had a grip on things.  All aspects of the arcade machine are working.  Then the wife throws a compromise on the table - " move the arcade machine to the basement ( it was in the family room, we need space for the kids' crap... I  mean stuff ) and you can buy a new bigger display " -  

Advise please.  Surely the WG 9200 (33)  is a huge upgrade from my 21"  svideo monitor.  The 21" runs  mame stuff, PC VGA at 640x480  ( not a great  picture )  and console games.

Is a WG 9200 the way to go vs a new TV ?  The display needs to handle VGA at 640x480 PC games, console video, and mame resolutions.  I use an ATI RageFuryPro with s-video out on the 21" for mame. Could the 9200 be considered an all purpose display if you limit the hires end to 640X480 ?
