Going to be purchasing some rather soon, thought others would also need them.  Looking to gauge interest so I know how many to order.

holy crap, that's a HUGE lock...are you sure it's not 3/4 or 7/8 barrel locks?

 ;)

AFAIK, it refers to the length of the lock, not the width.  Commonly used on coin doors and back panels.

Huge lock?  I was thinking that is a tiny barrel.  Who needs to lock a 1 1/8" barrel?

ok...but I've seen 3/4 and 7/8 wide, and you didn't specify width..:-)

(I ended up with a 2 gallon pail of locks and keys when I bought a pallet of arcade "stuff"..I still haven't matched them all up...job and a half that is..I'll prolley end up with 1 gallon of keyed barrel locks of different sizes/styles..:-)

I could do with 6 right now.  Maybe even more after the next auction  :D
Next I'll be on fries, and that's when the big money starts rolling in.

As long as the originals were 7/8", it will work just fine.

Would these work with a stern coin door?

I'll have a for sure answer for you in the next few days.  I have 2 places left to look at a cabinet, if I don't find anything it will be 100% custom built.  =)

  Thanks.

Bleh.  After re-measuring, it liiks like it's 3/4" not 7/8".  I was originally worried about the straight lines that it had there.

The 7/8" refers to the length of the lock, not the width.  I believe it's a standard size.  I'll go measure mine to check.

(after)  Yes, mine measure the same as yours.  AFAIK, it's a standard size.

Good news, everyone!  The distributor called and said they were out of single bitted locks.  They have upgraded to double bitted for the same price.

A single bit lock only has tumblers on one side while a double bit lock has both.  If you look at a standard house key, it is a single bit with a smooth side and the "rough" side.  A double bit has two "rough" sides on the key.

I hope this helps.

Ntjedi, I AGREE.

I ordered a pair of these, as well as a couple of coin mechs and they got here QUICK. I hope more people order some of these. I'd like to think that staple items like these will continue to be offered on here by people like Peale. Quick disconnects, barrel locks, coin mechs... Yeah you can find this stuff, but Peale, bro, you make it really easy and AFFORDABLE.

Thanks man.

They're FOR coin doors.  Well, back doors too I suppose, if your back door locks.
