T-molding with lip(s) question

Is there a specific t-molding that people have experience with that has a lip on one side or both, for the front of a control panel with artwork?  I've seen some at various online stores but my experience is limited to straight up 3/4" t-molding with a slot cutter.

But assuming they had it in stock, would that fit 3/4" plywood and use the same slot bit as the other link?

I hate to answer a question with a question but are you concerned the artwork is going to peel?  I would tend to think that the lip will make it uncomfortable if you are resting your arm/wrist on the panel.  Some people opt for a smaller thickness for the control panel and add plexi on top to protect the artwork.  The combined thickness works out to 3/4 of an inch.   If your panel is already 3/4 of an inch you can offset the slot for the t-molding and accomplish the same thing...just round the bottom edges.

The other approach is to wrap the art around the edge and cut it at the edge of the t-molding slot allowing the t-molding to hold the edges of the art down like Rikitiki does in his stickied "side art install 101" thread.

You are probably going to want to use plexi if you are going with custom printed artwork anyway. I HATE plexi, but I still use it whenever I am not using silk screened artwork.
