hi guys, just signed up today.  i have probably perused this forum in the past when i built my mame cab but that was years ago (~2005 i think)

well anyway, i'm on to a new project

a pinball machine.

i want to build a virtual pinball machine, or whatever they call them (future pinball, hyperpin etc)  but i have no idea on where to get started.

when i built my mame there were some pretty good tutorials out there and some had some very detailed drawings.

i probably won't start working on this anytime soon as i'd like to research much before i start building, but i've been looking all over the place for tutorials and really have turned up empty so far.

i know it's probably right under my nose, but you know that's the last place you look too.

Welcome.  There are some great VP builds, check the 2011 BYOAC UCA Full Size voting thread for easy access to some amazing pinball build threads.  There are also a few ongoing ones that are coming along very nicely over in Project Announcements, they should be on within the first three pages.  Take a gander.

thanks chuck!  i found one by a member named chris that i've really taken a liking too.  hopefully i can build something that beautiful, though i'd be building from scratch rather than an old pin
