I tried looking around to see if there is a new member intro thread but didn't see one. I just saw the "I'm new" post and decided to do the same.
I was given a Maxx Touch stand up machine and just bought a Street Fighter II with a Champion Edition board in it. I was going to go MAME before I got the SF II but want to hold off and restore the SF II. Now I'm looking at all the possibilities like NBA Jam, Mortal Kombat, etc. I think I got the "bug"

Welcome to the forums.
Sounds like you'll have lots of fun here.
The
last sticky thread
here in the main forum has some of what you wanted.
There's also good info in the wiki. Some entries are a little outdated, but there's a wiki discussion forum if you see something you think needs to be added/updated.

Or... because it's a wiki, just use your BYOAC user name and password to login to the wiki and change it! That's what great about the wiki, you don't have to ask somebody else to change it, you can go make it better all on your own.
Welcome!

Thanks for the welcome messages. I've been reading around the forum for the past month or two before I bought my SF II and now that I have it I've been looking for tips on restoring it. It's in fairly good shape and hope to post in the Restorations section soon. I hope to even add a touchscreen jukebox in the mix and eventually get a cabinet that nobody wants and MAME that one.
