I am about to work on the PACLED and I realized this morning, I still don't know what the hell Im doing. I have the connectors for the board, and a lot of my own wires. I had planned on using CAT5 cables and breaking out the individual wires to use for the buttons and the LED's. So that is going to leave me with bare wires that are going to need to get into these connectors. I saw the post a little of the ways up about the D-Sub connector and the crimping method used. To get this straight, the D-Sub connectors, once crimped, will fit down inside the tiny hole, and ultimately make a socket for the pin to fit up into? Is this correct or am I missing something? Is this the best bet, other than order more stuff from Andy (I am keeping him in business lately), or is there some other alternative? I considered soldering, but those pins are awfully small and I am not that skilled with an iron.
