Heres another one for the bargain price of $1375. in a Dataeast cabinet.
I guess you pay more for the curved marquee and multitude of player buttons.

PBJ, That link was no good.

I guess this classy build is a bargain at only $600.

I think my all time favorite one is this working vintage popeye arcade machine.  And for such a bargain.

I love when the ad says its a restored Pacman or something like that and then you check it out and its some generic piece of crap cabinet with Pacman artwork and a 60-in-1

I wouldn't pay a damned penny over $12548 but I'm cheap like that.

I need to pick up a LCD joystick like in the description.  No wonder my scores are so low.

Are you still using low definition joy sticks?  What a newb, get with the program.

Next thing I know you will tell me you aren't using hi-def buttons.

Ain't nothing like the CRT joysticks we used to use back in '83.

Hey Furb, I know what we're gonna do today!!!

We're gonna make a huge bartop machine with LCD joysticks just like they had in the 80s.

I've met the guy that sells these... he's quite proud of himself...

That is some piece of work. The buttons are on the wrong side but that's actually the lesser of all the other evils involved in making that.  ;D

Did you see where he installed a coin door? It's genius!  :lol

Well of course it's way back there, that CP is super crowded with 5 LCD buttons and a joy.  You have no idea the bellow the CP real-estate those LCD buttons take up... guess that's why he had to build a diving board of a freaking CP to go on that bad boy.  I like the design tho, marquees are for chumps... so is monitor angle.  Infact, I think we're going to see a rash of these popping up across the forum soon.  I had my money on the Urkelcade as the 2012 sleeper but I'm switching ponies.

I think the real take away from this is teal t-molding.  Gives the cabinet a nice tropical feel.

Wait wait wait, Phineas and Furb are licensed Disney Characters aren't they?  Wow, that means that is just has to be a licensed Disney product or ebay would have pulled it already.  Hey, there's only two left, come get your official Disney bartop!

Oh wow, this thread is making the 60-in-1 in 8-liner cabinets at the billiard store look like a bargain.  Only $700.

You guys are clearly falling behind the times here. LED joysticks and 3D joysticks are all the rage now!

Seriously though, uh, I haven't really seen any local arcade cabinets that overpriced recently except for the guy who's selling driving games and a Guitar Hero arcade system. For that price I'd rather buy a Virtua Fighter 3 cab for $300 and either polish it up or convert it to JAMMA so I can run a PC alongside it. Wouldn't gut it since it isn't that common. Come to think of it, I'd rather convert a 1942 cab to MAME for $150. Seriously.

Also, $12250 for a cocktail setup? Whatever that guy was smoking must have been really good.

The funny thing is that all of these games from the 80s were actually designed for LCD displays instead of CRTs.  True story cause someone posted about it (multiple times) a few years ago.   >:D

I don't know, like I said I've met the guy and he seems nice enough but I had a really hard time not mouthing off when he bragged about being "In The Zone Amusements."  He's got a lot of stuff on our local Craig's List "in brand new smoke free cabins".  Typos on his logo, the whole nine yards.

Well when I buy a new cabin, hopefully no one has smoked in it already!

I like how many times on his site he says "cabins" as well. And what the hell is with all the 3 button left handed CPs? This guy's a clown!
