Need help

Hello since this wasn't working in the wood woodworking thread I've decided to move it here if this is the wrong thread i'm sorry and please move. But I am trying to build an arcade cab in wood shop class at my school i got plans for the mortal kombat arcade cab from jakobud.com if i spelled that right. Well when i showed the plans to my woods teacher he started to tell me about how wood has thickness because when we went over the plans together He noticed there was no thickness illustrated and each page of the plans had a different scale can somebody please show me how get the plans of mortal kombat that has those two points mentioned. I also need modify the area where the screen should go to be 26 inches wide be cause the screen i am using is 25 and 1/2 inches wide. Is there any thing else i need to edit to make this work?

I just reviewed the plans and it looks like everything you need is there.  The wood thickness is 3/4"  (page 3).  The control panel top view does not show thickness but it would be safe to assume 3/4" as this is pretty standard.  Yes, the scales are different on some of the pages but that also shouldn't be a big deal because the physical dimensions are also listed.  That being said, it should be pretty easy to transpose the dimensions on paper to a piece of MDF.  As far as monitor width is concerned, all you need to do is increase the dimensions across the width of the cabinet by the appropriate amount.  If you look at the top of page 3 you will see an inside dimension of 25"  Add 1" and you should be good to go.  Just remember to cut all of the panels (kickplate, etc) to that new width.  (The side dimensions should stay the same).  Hope this helps and good luck.  Sounds like a fun shop project....My shop project was a Foosball table.

OMG....too funny.  Yeah, my shop teacher was missing some finger tips.  He loved to show them off as a good lesson learned.

on that tv show they build choppers one the guys was using a drill press and he had gloves on. the gloves got to close and it literally sucked the glove into the drill and wound around the drill bit. by the time he got it off and his hand out it shredded his hand like hamburg. they were picking pieces out of the drill press when he went to the hospital. he was ok but needed many stitches.
