I just reviewed the plans and it looks like everything you need is there. The wood thickness is 3/4" (page 3). The control panel top view does not show thickness but it would be safe to assume 3/4" as this is pretty standard. Yes, the scales are different on some of the pages but that also shouldn't be a big deal because the physical dimensions are also listed. That being said, it should be pretty easy to transpose the dimensions on paper to a piece of MDF. As far as monitor width is concerned, all you need to do is increase the dimensions across the width of the cabinet by the appropriate amount. If you look at the top of page 3 you will see an inside dimension of 25" Add 1" and you should be good to go. Just remember to cut all of the panels (kickplate, etc) to that new width. (The side dimensions should stay the same). Hope this helps and good luck. Sounds like a fun shop project....My shop project was a Foosball table.
