Anyone have a ATI 4650 512MB PCI-E ?

Im thinking of changing my cabs gfx card to a 4650, but am a little unsure of its capability.

Cab is c2d 2.2ghz, 2gb, xp x64, currently with a 8800gtx (is the 4650 comparable to the gtx?)

Main reason for changing is to support Groovymame, anyone running it on one of these cards?

Can the card run demul 640x480 and streetfighter iv (pc version 1024x768) at full detail, full 60fps speed?

Anything not run well on this card or any other caveats I need to be aware of before purchasing?

Nope, not got a 4650 but according to Toms Hardware the 8800 performs better :-) Try an ATI radeon 4850

Believe it or not, the next card up in the series blows the 4650 away...try to snag a 4670....or go as was suggested with the 4800 series.

Anyone know how it performs in:

Groovymame (looks good as its listed on the gm site)
Demul
Street Fighter IV (pc version)
Mames HLSL
Taitio Type X games

I would imagine that it should work fine, but would like some confirmation if anyone has tried it on the above

I have been using a 4650 512mb and a 4670 1GB (as well as a 4550) and although I've never tested it on the items you mentioned. I did test it on the new Supermodel 0.2a Sega Model 3 emu and Elsemi's Model 2 emu. The 4670 ran about 5fps faster than the 4650, nothing too spectacular but with it running Daytona 2 at 58fps rather than 53fps it made a big difference to the original arcade feel of the game, plus I snagged the 4670 cheaper than the 4650 from eBay.
