 I see some Control panels with the admin buttons and some with out

how many do you actually need to run the games with mame and hyperspinfe?

I cant seem to find any info

You can always use shifted buttons to do admin tasks so that no cp buttons need to be dedicated to admin.

With shifted buttons you could do without an admin set of buttons.  When you have guests, they will have no idea what your admin/shifted setup is.  So the answer is really subjective - do you want guests/newbs to be able to use your cab without instructions/docs/etc?

Im not worried about anyone messing with the machine....

I figure I would need an Esc(Exit), Enter and a Pause key that should cover most of the functions correct?


My other question is...

The Ipac2 controller that i picked up on craigs list is an older version and does not have the 1a, 1b terminals on it
can I just jumper the buttons that i need for the Shift functions?

ie.  Esc = Player1 & Player2
     Enter = Player 1 & 1 Left
     Pause = Player 1 & 1 Down
