I have gamepad controllers in one rig, and shelling to Mala means joytokey can't load.

So I thought I'd load joytokey via emulator pre-command. I assumed the pre-command syntax would be "dir>joytokey.exe, and joytokey does load. However, the game doesn't load/Mala sticks on the loading screen. Exiting/canceling joytokey allows Mala to continue and load the game.

What does the syntax need to be?....or is this avenue not viable within Mala?

Exactly the same problem, i want to execute a program after game loading, i use pre command too, when launching the game, the program executes, but mala waits, only if i close the program, then, the games loads like usual way...

Sure its a problem of syntax, someone knows how to solve this?

You could take a look to my AllInOne program!

Perhaps, to use joytokey you could test to run a file bat without to use precommand.

Nice to  see you empardopo (im santipastrana from retrovicio), exactly is what i want to use, launch Allinone via pre command, cause i use it for change arcade buttons on Kega Fusion and got save and load buttons (F5 and F8) on my arcade control. All goes perfectly out of mala, but trying to launch allinone via pre command on mala, it prevents on game from loading, in the way that if allinone launches, mala frontend stops, if i close allinone, then mala works like usually does (but allinone has been closed). I need to launch Kega fusion+allinone in paralel.

Via .Bat no succes, If i change the kega fusion.exe by a bat with this lines:

Kega.exe
Allinone.exe

When mala starts the emulator, kega goes to the screen of emulator, with no rom loaded.

If I change allinone.exe by a bat, andpoint "pre command" to the bat, with this lines:

Start
Allinone.exe

Simply, allinone no loads, but mala front end launches the game like usual.

Any idea?

Someone showed me a way around this, but I'd still like to figure out how to used pre and post commands. I think the issue is that Mala isn't figuring out (or something) that the programs are intended to be terminate-stay-resident.
