Likely nothing that's your fault, but like DD said, it's a known issue. On one of my computers all I had to do was run that registry fix (detailed in the other thread). It was the codec stealing the focus. On my second machine, that alone did not fix my problem. My problem was similar, however, it only occurred upon exiting a game. So I came up with a simple AHK script that just single left clicks every time after I press the exit button. This gets Mala back in focus. So yeah, I'd read through that whole thread. There are a few things you can try, and then if nothing else works, consider making a simple script to assist. Also, if you're running an older version of mala, you could try upgrading it. I believe you can just extract the new mala files into the existing folder, and that's about it. So you shouldn't lose any of your settings. Perhaps whatever bug you are experiencing is fixed in a newer version?
